The Toddler Tent Trials: Half-way Report
We are edging back to our 7:00am wake-up times – hurrah!!
Day Eight (Saturday) we had 10 minutes of whimpering from 6:25am, then 10 minutes silence. (Had she gone back to sleep..?) Then another 10 minutes shouting before wonderful Hubby got up at 6:45 to make the bottle.
Day Nine (Sunday) was 6:45 wake up and 7:00 by the time I went in with the milk.
Day Ten (Monday, today) my fears of stressful showerless mornings were not realised, as I was able to get up at 6:00, wash, eat and dry my hair, before I heard her cries at 6:50am. So all good.
So sleeping in the travel cot, we can definitely tick off the list.
In terms of sleeping in the same room, I’m thinking I’ll put the Babe in our room on Wednesday night, so it’ll just be me and her (Hubby away), and then Thursday night there’ll be the three of us. And Friday is the start of ‘The Weekend Away’…!!!!
